Kitchen & Renovation Concepts is seeking a qualified Stonemason or person with stone benchtop experience to join the team to meet the growing demand for our stone surface products.
- Qualified stonemason or person with stone benchtop processing experience
- Located in Dubbo – a rapidly growing regional city 4.5 hours from Sydney
- Full-time, permanent position with overtime and monthly RDO
- All wet processing with a high level of silica safety
Your tasks will include:
- Finishing of stone surfaces for products such as kitchen benchtops and bathroom vanities using all necessary skills such as cutting, grinding, polishing and laminating using engineered and some natural stone products.
- Use of a stone bridge saw, stone polishing machine, CNCs and a waterjet (training given as necessary)
- Reading shop drawings and ensuring accurate processing of materials.
- Liaising with the internal project managers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhering to all work health and safety (WHS) best practice requirements.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Experience with processing and installing silica free engineered and natural stone benchtops
- Formal qualification in Stonemasonry is preferred but not essential if experienced
- A driver’s licence and a Construction White Card
- High attention to detail
- Be able to work autonomously and within a team environment with a great work attitude
- Natural problem-solving skills
We are proud to offer stable employment, an attractive hourly rate, overtime and a monthly RDO system. Remuneration will depend on experience but above Award will be paid for suitably qualified applicants.
