Kitchen & Renovation Concepts is seeking a qualified Stonemason or person with stone benchtop experience to join the team to meet the growing demand for our stone surface products.

• Qualified stonemason or person with stone benchtop processing experience
• Located in Dubbo – a rapidly growing regional city 4.5 hours from Sydney (see https://youtu.be/rTPZDcsEXx4)
• Full-time, permanent position with overtime and monthly RDO
• All wet processing with a high level of silica safety

Your tasks will include:

• Finishing of stone surfaces for products such as kitchen benchtops and bathroom vanities using all necessary skills such as cutting, grinding, polishing and laminating using engineered and some natural stone products.
• Use of a stone bridge saw and stone polishing machine.
• Reading shop drawings and ensuring accurate processing of materials.
• Liaising with the internal project managers to ensure project timelines are met.
• Adhering to all work health and safety (WHS) best practice requirements.

To be successful in this position you will have:

• Experience with processing and installing engineered and natural stone benchtops
• Formal qualification in Stonemasonry is preferred but not essential if experienced
• A driver’s licence and a Construction White Card
• High attention to detail
• Be able to work autonomously and within a team environment with a great work attitude
• Natural problem-solving skills

The Award rate for a stonemason with Level 7 (Joinery & Building Trades Award 2020) skills or experience is approximately $57,151.00 gross per annum including Award Allowances but above award may be paid for an applicant with suitable experience.

Up to $10,000 may be available in relocation support if relocating from a metropolitan area.
