Project Outline
This project saw Kitchen & Renovation Concepts assisting in the renovation of the kitchen area in the historic Nanima Homestead, one of the most interesting and intact Edwardian homesteads in rural NSW.
Working closely with the clients, Abraham helped design a kitchen that was fresh and modern while retaining elements that reflected the heritage of the homestead such as the custom mantlepiece and the Hafele antique cup and knob handles. Polytec Casino style doors painted in half-strength Vanilla Ice polyurethane gave the kitchen a distinctive, country-style look while modern features such as integrated appliances, clever storage solutions from Hafele and Loox lighting ensured that the kitchen performed well as a modern, functional space.
This was one of our recent interesting bespoke projects which created a unique modern kitchen while preserving important elements of Australia’s history.
